Advocacy

The Illinois Wheat Association (IWA) is the premier farmer- and agri-business led organization to advocate for wheat production and processing within the state of Illinois.  As a member-funded organization, it promotes all links in the Illinois wheat industry supply chain, from input suppliers to producers to processors. IWA organizes the largest educational events in the state that prioritize the interests of wheat producers, millers, and other agribusinesses in Illinois.  IWA creates dynamic grower meetings, university research events, and represents Illinois wheat growers and wheat processors at state agricultural events.  IWA often provides information on the importance of wheat production in Illinois to the media and to state and federal legislators.
